Exports to China reached over 18.1 billion USD in first 4 months of 2025

AsemconnectVietnam - According to the statistics figures from the General Department of Customs, the export turnover of Vietnamese goods to the Chinese market in the first 4 months of 2025 reached over 18.1 billion USD, up by 2.2% over the same period last year.
Leading the export turnover in the first 4 months of 2025 was the group of computers, electronic products and components reaching 5.05 billion USD, up by 26.8% over the same period last year, accounting for 27.9% of the export proportion; followed by the group of phones of all kinds and components reaching 3.5 billion USD, up by 2.1%, accounting for 19.6% of the proportion; and then by the group of cameras, camcorders and components reaching 1.2 billion USD, down by 31.7% over the same period last year, accounting for 7.1% of the export proportion.
Several commodity groups with export turnover growth in the first 4 months of 2025 compared to the same period last year, such as seafood increased by 60%; rice increased by 83.6%; iron and steel products increased by 39.7%; furniture products made from materials other than wood increased by 55.3%.
China is identified as a key export market for agricultural, forestry and aquatic products of Vietnam. In addition to strong products such as vegetables, fruits and aquatic products, businesses are focusing on increasing market share of products with great potential such as rubber, pepper, cassava, etc.
