BV Land (BVL): Breakthrough in QI/2025, exceeding the annual profit plan by 40%

AsemconnectVietnam - According to the announcement of the consolidated financial report for the first quarter of 2025, BV Land Joint Stock Company (UPCoM: BVL) recorded a breakthrough business result with net revenue of nearly VND809 billion, completing 39% of the annual plan, profit after tax reaching VND164.3 billion, exceeding the annual profit target by 40.2%.

Welcoming the new development cycle of the real estate market
The Vietnamese real estate market is entering a new development cycle: more professional, more selective and more substantial. When the policy system is completed, the market will belong to investors with a vision, a methodical strategy, owning clean land funds, solid financial resources and the ability to implement synchronous and in-depth projects.
In just the first 3 months of 2025, BV Land has demonstrated the mettle of a real estate company on the rise, proactively adapting to the new market cycle.
Results from BV Land's consolidated financial report for the first quarter of 2025 show that net revenue reached nearly VND809 billion, a sharp increase over the same period, pre-tax profit reached more than VND206 billion, after-tax profit reached VND164.3 billion, equivalent to 40.2% of the annual profit plan - the highest quarterly level since the Company listed on UPCoM.
Compared to the same period last year, revenue increased by 444.7%, while cost of goods sold increased by 248.5%. Financial expenses increased only slightly, notably interest expenses decreased by more than 32%, helping to improve profit margins. Management and sales expenses increased by 25% and 359% respectively, in line with the expanded scale of operations.
Notably, the gross profit margin reached more than 32%, reflecting the optimal operating capacity as well as the effective product structure. Positive business results in the first quarter have created momentum for the stock price increase. On the UPCoM floor last week, the Company's BVL shares led the group in strong growth. Not only did the price increase sharply, BVL also recorded a clear improvement in liquidity, with an average trading volume of 10 sessions reaching more than 23,000 units - showing the participation of cash flow. As of May 12, 2025, BVL shares are trading at VND14,900/share.
Creating positive space, committing to long-term values
The success in the first quarter has created a solid foundation for BV Land to accelerate in the following quarters. At the Annual General Meeting of Shareholders of BV Land on April 25, 2025, the Company approved the plan for 2025 with a target of pre-tax profit of VND522 billion and after-tax profit of VND409 billion, the highest level since the Company traded on the UPCoM.
It is expected that in 2025, the main source of revenue will come from the Bavella Green Park project, accounting for the largest proportion. In addition, BV Land continues to record revenue from the Diamond Hill (Bac Giang) and Bavella Lac Ngan (Phu Tho) projects through debt collection from signed contracts.
BV Land is also accelerating the construction of the Diamond Hill Thai Nguyen project, ensuring progress to be eligible for sale in the second quarter of 2025. At the same time, the Company aims to have at least 08 new projects, expanding the strategic land fund for the next growth phase.
In terms of organization, BV Land has restructured its management model in a more modern and professional direction, in order to meet the development requirements in the new period. This is the foundation for the goal of becoming a high-end real estate developer, creating a humane, sustainable and unique living community.
