Vietnam’s exports to Netherlands increased in 4 months

AsemconnectVietnam - According to statistics from the General Department of Customs, Vietnam's goods exports to the Netherlands in the first four months of 2025 reached 4.1 billion USD, an increase of 4.6% compared to the same period last year.
Leading the export value in the first four months of 2025 was the group of computers, electronic products, and components, reaching 1.01 billion USD, an increase of 12.3% compared to the same period last year, accounting for 24.4% of the total export value. The group of machinery, equipment, tools, and spare parts followed, reaching 735.7 million USD, a decrease of 9% compared to the same period last year, accounting for 17.7% of the proportion.
Several commodities saw an increase in export value to the Dutch market in the first four months of 2025 compared to the same period last year, such as coffee increased by 66.3%; cashew nuts increased by 32.7%; and seafood increased by 16.3%.
The Netherlands has long been considered a gateway to the EU market, a leading hub for goods transshipment in Europe and the world, especially for fruits and vegetables. In particular, the EVFTA is bringing many new opportunities for Vietnamese and Dutch businesses.
The EU is a dynamic market. Significant cooperation opportunities in the trade of fruits and vegetables are concentrated in partnerships with Dutch traders – a market with a fairly strong growth in import volume from developing countries in recent years.
