AsemconnectVietnam - Viettel Global Investment Joint Stock Corporation (Viettel Global - VGI) has just announced its consolidated financial report for the first quarter of 2025. Accordingly, Viettel Global's revenue continued to grow impressively by 22%.

The report said that in the first quarter, Viettel Global's sales and service revenue reached VND9,657 billion, an increase of 22% compared to the first quarter of 2024. Consolidated pre-tax profit reached VND1,310 billion. This is the 6th consecutive quarter that the company has recorded revenue growth of over 20%, demonstrating the sustainable development of Viettel Global, especially in the context of the global telecommunications market being almost saturated.
In the first quarter, sales and service revenue in all Viettel Global markets grew strongly, notably Viettel Burundi increased by 38%, Viettel Tanzania increased by 29%, Viettel Haiti increased by 28%, Viettel Mozambique increased by 23%.
In addition to good results from the traditional telecommunications segment, Viettel Global's e-wallet companies also recorded impressive growth, with Lumicash in Burundi achieving a growth rate of 59%, Halopesa in Tanzania increasing by 47%, Emoney in Cambodia increasing by 42%, and M_Mola in Mozambique increasing by 27%. These results show the strong growth potential of digital financial services, which are expected to be an important growth driver in the coming time.
In addition to economic efficiency, right from the first months of 2025, Viettel Global has received many good news when it was honored to welcome the President of the Republic of Burundi Esvariste Ndayishimiye and a high-ranking delegation of the Republic of Burundi to visit and work with Viettel; met with President of Timor Leste José Ramos – Horta in Hanoi, affirming its position as a diplomatic bridge, contributing to strengthening and tightening the friendly cooperation between Vietnam and countries around the world.
Viettel Global was also honored to receive a certificate of merit from the Ministry of National Defense for its outstanding contributions to the rescue and relief work after the earthquake in Myanmar, affirming Viettel's business mission associated with social responsibility in its overseas investment activities.
