AsemconnectVietnam - At the end of the first quarter of 2025, An Binh Commercial Joint Stock Bank (ABBANK - code ABB) announced a pre-tax profit of VND407 billion, an increase of 128% over the same period in 2024.

Specifically, as of March 31, 2025, ABBANK's total assets reached VND183,659 billion, an increase of 4% compared to the beginning of the year, reaching 92% of the annual plan; Mobilization from customers and issuance of valuable papers reached VND112,067 billion; Outstanding credit balance reached VND100,352 billion.
ABBANK has set aside VND340 billion in the first quarter of 2025 for credit risk provisions and debt repurchase from VAMC. At the same time, ABBANK continues to strengthen bad debt control, accordingly the bad debt ratio is strictly controlled at 2.44%, maintained below 3% according to the provisions of Circular No. 11/2021/TT-NHNN of the State Bank.
Pre-tax profit in the first quarter of 2025 will reach VND407 billion, an increase of 128% over the same period in 2024. The capital adequacy ratio (CAR) at 10.46% complies with the level of over 8% according to the standards of the State Bank, ensuring ABBANK's solid capital framework for business operations.
In the first quarter of 2025, digital banking activities at ABBANK continued to record positive results. The ABBANK Business platform has been upgraded with many convenient features for businesses such as: Online international money transfer - significantly reducing execution time; Updating online biometrics and buying and selling foreign currencies online... have helped the application maintain its growth momentum with the number of transactions on digital channels accounting for 56% of the total transactions of corporate customers at ABBANK. In particular, the Online International Money Transfer feature has shown its effectiveness when contributing up to 24% of the total international money transfer transactions of corporate customers in the first quarter of 2025.
For the new digital banking platform for individual customers, the application named ABBANK has been introduced and deployed to the Bank's existing customers. In particular, the addition of the feature "Voice balance change notification" - playing sound even when the customer's device screen is off has contributed to helping the new ABBANK application be positively received by users, especially the group of individual business households.
