2025 is also an important milestone in the brand development strategy when VNI officially implements a comprehensive repositioning of the brand, including the planned renaming to DBV as approved by the Extraordinary General Meeting of Shareholders earlier.
With the support of strategic shareholder DB (Korea), VNI aims to be in the top 7 leading non-life insurance companies in Vietnam in 2025; at the same time, maintain the leading position in the field of motor vehicle insurance.
In 2024, the total original insurance premium revenue of this insurance company will reach VND2,895 billion, an increase of 14% compared to 2023; financial revenue will reach VND149.7 billion. Notably, VNI's motor vehicle insurance rose to the No. 1 position in the market, up 4 places compared to the previous year and contributing 62.4% to total insurance revenue. VNI's after-tax profit will reach VND11.5 billion in 2024. After setting aside funds, retained earnings will be VND92.1 billion. In 2024, this insurance company will not pay dividends to supplement capital for business.
