AsemconnectVietnam - According to Kinhtedothi, domestic pepper prices ranged from VND154,500 to 155,000 per kilogram on the morning of April 22, 2025 and dropped by VND 500 to 1,000 per kilogram compared to the same time yesterday.
The harvest season is nearing its end across major growing areas. Dry and sunny weather has been favorable for harvesting, drying, and storage. The increasing supply is putting downward pressure on the market.
In Đắk Lắk province: VND155,000 per kilogram, down VND1,000.
In Đắk Nông province: VND155,000 per kilogram, down VND1,000.
In Gia Lai province: VND154,000 per kilogram, down VND1,000.
In Đồng Nai: VND154,500 per kilogram, down VND 500.
In Bà Rịa - Vũng Tàu province: VND154,500 per kilogram, down VND 500.
In Bình Phước: VND154,000 per kilogram, down VND1,000.
As the harvest season comes to an end, the dry weather continues to support harvesting, drying, and preservation. However, the rising supply is putting pressure on the market.
Meanwhile, taking advantage of the 90-day delay in U.S. tariff enforcement, many Vietnamese companies have secured new export contracts. Vietnam’s pepper market is also poised for a breakthrough as demand from emerging regions such as the Middle East and Africa is rising rapidly.
