Exports to Thailand reached over 2.06 billion USD in 1st quarter of 2025

AsemconnectVietnam - According to the statistics figures from the General Department of Customs, Vietnam's export turnover to the Thai market in the first 3 months of 2025 reached over 2.06 billion USD, up by 4.1% over the same period last year.

Thailand is currently Vietnam's largest export market in ASEAN, accounting for more than 20% of Vietnam's total export turnover to the bloc.
Vietnam exported 36 main products to this market in the first 3 months of 2025, of which 4 export products reached a value of 150 million USD or more. The product with the largest turnover belongs to the group of computers, electronic products and components, reaching 394.3 million USD, up by 12.2%, accounting for 12.4% of the export proportion. The next was the group of machinery, equipment, tools and spare parts reaching 257.1 million USD, up by 12.8%, accounting for 12.4% of the export proportion. The third was the group of phones and components reaching 212.7 million USD, down by 30% compared to the same period last year, accounting for 10.3% of the proportion.
Some groups of export items to Thailand increased in the first 3 months of 2025 compared to the same period last year: chemicals increased by 393.8%; coffee increased by 61.3%; pepper increased by 42.7%; precious metals and precious stones and products increased by 264.3%.
