AsemconnectVietnam - According to Kinhtedothi, as of April 18, 2025, rice and paddy prices in the domestic market remain stable due to low trading activity.

In the Mekong Delta, there has been little change in rice and paddy prices. Market activity is limited, and fresh paddy prices have leveled off compared to yesterday. According to the Department of Agriculture and Environment of An Giang province, current prices for fresh paddy are as follows:
  • OM 18: 6,800 – 7,000 VND/kg

In An Giang and Can Tho, remaining paddy is low, with slow trading and stable prices. In Tra Vinh, many paddy fields are near harvest or ready for cutting.
In Bac Lieu, farmers are holding out for higher prices for fragrant paddy varieties like ST rice, with some fields already marked for harvest. Buyers are inquiring sporadically. In Kien Giang, paddy volumes are decreasing, but prices remain stable. In Long An, supply is low, buyer activity is minimal, and there is slow trading.
