Exports to Netherlands increased in first 3 months of 2025

AsemconnectVietnam - According to the statistics figures from the General Department of Customs, the export turnover of Vietnamese goods to the Netherlands in the first 3 months of 2025 reached 3.07 billion USD, an increase of 4.4% over the same period last year.
Leading the export turnover in the first 3 months of 2025 were the following groups of goods: computers, electronic products and components reached 787.4 million USD, an increase of 16.1% over the same period last year, accounting for 25.6% of the total export value; the group of machinery, equipment, tools and spare parts reaching 536.6 million USD, down by 10.2% over the same period last year, accounting for 17.4% of the proportion.
Some items with increased export turnover to the Dutch market in the first 3 months of 2025 compared to the same period last year include coffee increased by 57%; means of transport and spare parts increased by 69.1%; cashew nuts increased by 48.7%; seafood products increased by 20.2%.
The Netherlands has been considered the gateway to the EU market, the leading transit point in Europe and the world, for vegetables, tubers and fruits. In particular, EVFTA is bringing many new opportunities for Vietnamese and Dutch businesses.
The EU is a dynamic market. Great cooperation opportunities in the field of vegetable, tubers and fruits trade are concentrated in cooperative relationships with Dutch traders - where import capacity from developing countries has grown quite strongly in recent years.
