 Monday, April 7,2025

AsemconnectVietnam - Dong Nai Port Joint Stock Company (code PDN) has just announced its 2024 annual report and announced its expected business plan for 2025.

In 2025, Dong Nai Port plans to set a revenue target of VND1,400 billion and after-tax profit of VND360 billion, respectively increasing by 2.7% and 3.7% compared to 2024. However, this is still a tentative plan, the exact figure will be approved by Dong Nai Port's 2025 Annual General Meeting of Shareholders on April 24.
PDN believes that in 2025, in the context of being affected by the world economic and political situation, Vietnam's seaport industry will have many opportunities to benefit from the shift in supply sources. However, businesses cannot be complacent because the world economic situation is still fluctuating with many complex and unpredictable factors.
In that context, Dong Nai Port will update and closely monitor macroeconomic developments to be able to propose appropriate policies and directions, helping the Company easily adapt and cope with challenges. Thereby, minimizing the negative impact on the Company's business performance.
To achieve the above goals, the Company will carry out digital transformation, making the most of technology applications such as E-Port (supporting declaration and payment of container lifting and lowering fees), E-Invoice (electronic invoice) and E-Cargo (automatic customs supervision) to simplify customs procedures and cargo loading and unloading processes, improving operational efficiency.
In addition, the Company maintains and develops existing customers by stabilizing price policies, enhancing customer care services, flexibly responding to reasonable requests, while shortening cargo handling time and improving service quality.
At the same time, investing and upgrading equipment, improving the loading and unloading equipment system at the wharf and yard to better meet customer needs and improve exploitation productivity.
In addition, in 2025, the Company needs to accelerate the construction of wharf B6 and fuel depot serving Long Thanh airport, and at the same time focus on negotiating with liquid customers to lease the yard for tanks, helping to reduce the pressure on revenue and output of the general cargo industry in the Go Dau area.
