Viettel Global (VGI) impressive growth of 25% in 2024

AsemconnectVietnam - Viettel Global Investment Joint Stock Corporation (Viettel Global - VGI) has just announced its audited consolidated financial report for 2024. Accordingly, both revenue and consolidated profit in 2024 grew at a high rate.
The report shows that the audited revenue figure has not changed much compared to the self-made report. Viettel Global's consolidated sales and service revenue in 2024 reached VND35,368 billion, an increase of 25% compared to 2023, 6 times the world's telecommunications growth (according to GSMA intelligence).
Thus, in 2024, Viettel Global's average daily revenue is VND97 billion. All market companies of Viettel Global recorded high growth, typically Viettel Burundi (55%), Viettel Haiti (23%), Viettel Mozambique (21%).
Revenue grew positively, Viettel Global's consolidated pre-tax profit in 2024 reached VND10,667 billion, an increase of 175% compared to 2023. Consolidated profit after tax reached VND7,173 billion, an increase of 335% compared to 2023. Accumulated undistributed profit after tax reached VND2,284 billion.
Viettel Global continues to affirm the right direction in its digital transformation strategy, pioneering the creation of a digital society for the countries Viettel invests in. In 2024, digital services were strongly deployed, contributing positively to the growth rate of this enterprise. Typically, e-wallet services grew by over 57%.
All 9 e-wallet companies of Viettel Global in the market recorded impressive growth such as: E-Mola in Mozambique (98%), Lumicash in Burundi (50%), E-money in Cambodia (33%). Super apps in 9 markets also achieved positive results. Notably, MyID of Viettel Myanmar became the most popular mobile application in this country with nearly 40 million users.
In 2024, Viettel Mozambique rose to No. 1 in terms of mobile subscribers, e-wallet subscribers and mobile revenue. Thus, Viettel Global has 7 markets occupying the No. 1 position. Viettel Global was honored to receive 6 more labor medals and certificates of merit from the Government of Vietnam and neighboring countries, recognizing the tireless efforts of this enterprise in implementing the economic integration policy, promoting the country and people of Vietnam.
