Exports of phones and components in first 2 months of 2025

AsemconnectVietnam - According to the preliminary statistics figures from the General Department of Customs, in the first 2 months of 2025, the export turnover of phones and components of all kinds nationwide reached over 9.21 billion USD, down by 3.1% compared to the first 2 months of 2024.
In February of 2025 alone, the exports of phones and components reached nearly 4.39 billion USD, down by 9.2% compared to January of 2025 but up by 11.7% compared to February of 2024.
Vietnam exported the most phones and components to the US market in the first 2 months of 2025, reaching over 1.95 billion USD, down by 15.4% compared to the first 2 months of 2024, accounting for 21.2% of the total export turnover of phones and components of all kinds nationwide. In February of 2025 alone, the figure reached nearly 830.89 million USD, down by 26.1% compared to January of 2025 and down by 9.6% compared to February of 2024.
The second largest market was China, reaching over 1.45 billion USD, down slightly by 0.7%, accounting for 15.8%; the figure of February of 2025 alone increased sharply by 40.8% compared to January of 2025 and increased by 16.4% compared to February of 2024, reaching 850.14 million USD.
The next was the U.A.E market with nearly 536.94 million USD, accounting for 5.8%, down by 9.1% compared to the first 2 months of 2024, the exports to the Korean market reached nearly 509.51 million USD, down by 12.9%; and to Austrian market reached 454.13 million USD, up by 33%.
