AsemconnectVietnam - In the first two months of 2025, Vietnam’s textile and garment export turnover reached over 5.63 billion USD, up 9.3% over the same period in 2024.

According to the preliminary statistics figures from the General Department of Customs, Vietnam’s textile and garment exports in February of 2025 decreased by 23.5% compared to January of 2025 but increased by 20.7% compared to February of 2024, reaching over 2.44 billion USD. In the first two months of 2025, the total turnover reached over 5.63 billion USD, an increase of 9.3% compared to the first two months of 2024.
Vietnam's textile and garment exports to the US always ranked first in terms of turnover, reaching nearly 2.46 billion USD, accounting for 43.6% of the total textile and garment export turnover of the whole country, an increase of 12.4% compared to the first two months of 2024. In February of 2025 alone, it reached 1.06 billion USD, down by 24.2% compared to January of 2025 but up by 22.4% compared to February of 2024.
Exports to Japan ranked second in terms of turnover, reaching 689.72 million USD, accounting for 12.2%, an increase of 9.4%; February 2025 alone reached 311.54 million USD, down 17.7% compared to January 2025 but up 27.9% compared to February 2024.
Next is the EU market, reaching 574.85 million USD, accounting for 10.2%, up 7.4%; February 2025 alone reached 230.05 million USD, down 33.4% compared to January 2025 but up 13% compared to February 2024.
Next, the Korean market reached 536.28 million USD, accounting for 9.5%, up 4.1% and to China reached 200.69 million USD, accounting for 3.6%, up 10% compared to the first 2 months of 2024.
Textile and garment exports to the Southeast Asian market accounted for 6.1%, reaching over 343.29 million USD, up 13.9% compared to the first 2 months of 2024.
