Hua Na Hydropower (HNA) will hold the 2025 Annual General Meeting of Shareholders in April
Sunday, March 23,2025
AsemconnectVietnam - Hua Na Hydropower Joint Stock Company (code HNA - HOSE) plans to have a total revenue of VND828.7 billion, an expected profit after tax of VND185.3 billion and an expected dividend of 10% in 2025.
On March 20, Hua Na Hydropower will finalize the list of shareholders attending the 2025 Annual General Meeting of Shareholders, which is scheduled to be held on April 17 in Nghe An province.
Previously, regarding the business plan, in 2025, Hua Na Hydropower planned to have a commercial electricity output of 685.3 million kWh, a total revenue of VND828.7 billion, an expected profit after tax of VND185.3 billion and an expected dividend of 10%. Of which, the Company's revenue mainly comes from Hua Na Hydropower Plant, about VND743.7 billion, accounting for 89.7% of total revenue; VND79.3 billion comes from Nam Non Hydropower Plant, accounting for 9.6% of total revenue; and the rest is from other activities, accounting for 0.7% of total revenue.
It is known that in 2024, Hua Na Hydropower recorded revenue of VND786.9 billion, after-tax profit of VND263.11 billion.
Thus, the profit plan in the fiscal year 2025 of Hua Na Hydropower is expected to decrease by 29.6% compared to the implementation in 2024.
Notably, on October 8, 2024, Hua Na Hydropower Company and Nghe An Energy Development Corporation signed a contract to transfer Nam Non Hydropower Plant.
In particular, before the M&A deal of Nam Non Hydropower Plant, Hua Na Hydropower Plant only owned one plant, Hua Na Hydropower Plant, with a capacity of 180 MW, a total investment of VND7,092 billion, and put into operation in 2013.
In addition, Nam Non Hydropower Plant is located in Xa Luong commune, Tuong Duong district, Nghe An province, with an installed capacity of 20 MW with 2 generators. The project started in December 2011, Nam Non Hydropower Plant has been put into operation since September 6, 2014, with a total investment of VND513 billion. The long-term leased land area of the plant is up to 66,776 m2.
Thus, despite expanding power generation capacity in 2024 thanks to the successful M&A of Nam Non Hydropower Plant, Hua Na Hydropower Plant still plans to go backwards in 2025.
