In the first 2 months of 2025, the group of computers, electronic products and components was leading the export turnover with 156.9 million USD, an increase of 8.17% over the same period last year and accounting for 18.8% of the export proportion. The next was the group of means of transport and spare parts reaching 140.06 million USD, an increase of 626.6% over the same period, accounting for 16.8% of the proportion.
Some items with export value increased quite strongly in the first 2 months of 2025 compared to the same period, such as glass and glass products increased by 68.4%; petroleum products of all kinds increased by 90.8%; electric wires and cables increased by 72.4%; iron and steel products increased by 88.2%; other base metals and products increased by 115.7%.
Singapore is a country with a developed economy among the most dynamic in the Asia-Pacific region, playing an important role in trade cooperation with Vietnam. Singapore's need to find and expand the market for supplying raw materials to replace the Chinese market is very large.
