Exports to Netherlands increased in first 2 months of 2025

AsemconnectVietnam - According to the statistics figures from the General Department of Customs, the export turnover of Vietnamese goods to the Netherlands in the first 2 months of 2025 reached 1.95 billion USD, an increase of 11.4% over the same period last year.
Leading the export turnover in the first 2 months of 2025 were the following groups of goods computers, electronic products and components reached 491.9 million USD, an increase of 17.9% over the same period last year, accounting for 25.1% of the total export value. The next was the group of machinery, equipment, tools and spare parts reaching 341.2 million USD, down by 5.3% over the same period last year, accounting for 17.4% of the proportion.
Some items saw increase in export turnover to the Dutch market in the first 2 months of 2025 compared to the same period last year, such as coffee increased by 80.1%; means of transport and spare parts increased by 69.1%; cameras, camcorders and components increased by 41.2%; cashew nuts increased by 434.1%.
The Netherlands has been considered the gateway to the EU market, the leading transit point in Europe and the world, for vegetables, tubers and fruits. In particular, EVFTA is bringing many new opportunities for Vietnamese and Dutch businesses.
The EU is a dynamic market. Great cooperation opportunities in the field of vegetable, tubers and fruits trade are concentrated in cooperative relationships with Dutch traders - where import capacity from developing countries has grown quite strongly in recent years.
