Biwase (BWE) targets 2025 profit growth of 12.6%, minimum dividend of 13%

AsemconnectVietnam - Binh Duong Water and Environment Joint Stock Company (Biwase, stock code BWE - HOSE) has just announced the draft documents for the 2025 Annual General Meeting of Shareholders, the meeting is expected to be held on March 26.
According to the announced documents, Biwase plans to reach a total water supply capacity of 979,000 m3/day in 2025, with the company's total water loss below 4.8%. Commercial water will reach about 220,000,000 m3, and water supply customers will increase to more than 20,000 connections.
Key business targets for 2025, specifically, the Company expects the total revenue of the parent company and its subsidiaries to reach about VND4,760 billion (of which the parent company is about VND2,920 billion, and the subsidiaries are about VND1,840 billion); the after-tax profit of the parent company and its subsidiaries will reach about VND640 billion (of which the parent company is about VND520 billion, and the subsidiaries are about more than VND120 billion).
Thus, compared to the results of 2024, in 2025, Biwase targets an 8.5% growth in revenue and a 12.6% growth in profit. In 2024, Biwase recorded a total revenue of VND4,387 billion, and a after-tax profit of VND568 billion (including internal revenue of Biwase Corporation and 3 LLCs separated during the year).
Regarding the dividend plan, the Company agreed to pay the 2024 dividend in cash at a rate of 13%. The last registration date for the list of shareholders entitled to the dividend was February 10, the expected payment date is June 4. As for the 2025 dividend, Biwase plans to maintain a minimum dividend rate of 13%.
Regarding operations, the Company said that in the water supply sector, it will deploy investment to expand and increase the capacity of water plants, ensuring adequate water supply in all situations in both short-term and long-term strategies; launch the project to increase the capacity of Nhi Thanh water plant by 60,000 m3/day to a total capacity of 120,000 m3/day, expected to be officially put into operation in the third quarter of 2025; expand the scope of water supply services to Can Giuoc and Can Duoc districts, Long An province.
It is expected that in 2025-2030, the Company will increase the capacity of Biwase Quang Binh factory to 30,000 m3/day, develop and expand the water supply system to supply the entire Quang Trach district and neighboring areas. In addition, the Company will increase the capacity of phase 3 of Chon Thanh water plant from 30,000 to 60,000 m3/day; build Saigon-Mekong water plant, with a capacity of 50,000 m3/day, estimated at about 100 billion, to be completed and put into use in the second quarter of 2025; continue to complete and submit for approval clean water price plans.
For the waste sector, Biwase will study investment to expand the market in strategic locations, continue to study and find output solutions for recycled products, especially Con Voi Binh Duong fertilizer, contributing to supporting farmers in producing organic agricultural products. Invest in a 500-ton/day incinerator combined with a 12 MW power generation. At the same time, continue to complete and submit for approval the waste pricing plan.
The company said that in terms of project implementation, it will complete legal documents for the Long Thanh-Dong Nai Highway project, invest capital to serve the development needs of Biwase companies invested in Dong Nai, Can Tho, Long An, Quang Binh, and implement water supply projects for Becamex-VSIP industrial parks...
Regarding M&A activities, Biwase informed that if there are good opportunities in the water and waste supply sector in places with potential efficiency, within the scope of the company's capital, the company will continue to invest in its core business.
