AsemconnectVietnam - According to the statistics figures from the General Department of Customs, Vietnam's export turnover to the Thai market in the first two months of 2025 reached over 1.2 billion USD, down by 8.02% over the same period last year.

Thailand is currently Vietnam's largest export market in ASEAN, accounting for more than 20% of Vietnam's total export turnover to the bloc.
Vietnam exported 36 main products to this market in the first two months of 2025, of which 7 export products reached a value of 50 million USD or more. The product with the largest turnover belongs to the group of machinery, equipment, tools, and other spare parts, reaching 169.3 million USD, up by 6.6%, accounting for 13.9% of the proportion; followed by the group of computers, electronic products and components reaching 163.3 million USD, up by 43.4%, accounting for 13.4% of the export proportion.
The third place was the group of phones and components reaching 137.3 million USD, down by 41.8% over the same period last year, accounting for 11.2% of the proportion.
Some groups of exported goods to Thailand increased in the first 2 months of 2025 compared to the same period last year, such as chemicals increased by 491%; coffee increased by 94.1%; pepper increased by 90.7%; precious metals and precious stones and products increased by 349.8%; coal exports increased by 3 times.
