AsemconnectVietnam - According to Kinh tế & Đô thị, domestic coffee prices today, March 13, 2025, have declined slightly to 131,500 - 133,000 VND/kg compared to yesterday.

In Di Linh, Lâm Hà, and Bảo Lộc (Lâm Đồng), coffee is being purchased at 131,500 VND/kg.
In Cư M'gar (Đắk Lắk), coffee prices today are at 133,000 VND/kg. In Ea H’leo and Buôn Hồ (Đắk Lắk), coffee is being purchased at the same price of 133,000 VND/kg.
Similarly, in Đắk Nông province, coffee is being bought at 133,000 VND/kg in Gia Nghĩa and 132,900 VND/kg in Đắk R'lấp.
In Gia Lai province, coffee prices are at 132,700 VND/kg in Chư Prông and 132,600 VND/kg in Pleiku and La Grai.
Meanwhile, in Kon Tum province, coffee is being purchased at 132,700 VND/kg.
At the close of the most recent trading session, Robusta coffee prices on the London exchange for May 2025 delivery decreased by 44 USD/ton to 5,508 USD/ton, while the July 2025 contract dropped by 29 USD/ton to 5,484 USD/ton.
 After a strong increase yesterday, coffee prices on both exchanges have dropped. The recovery of the USD has pushed coffee prices down. The trade war between the US and its trading partners has increased uncertainty in commodity transactions.
On the New York exchange, Arabica coffee for May 2025 delivery fell by 7 cents/lb to 386.75 cents/lb, and the July 2025 contract decreased by 5.85 cents/lb to 378.55 cents/lb.
After a strong increase yesterday, coffee prices on both exchanges have declined. The recovery of the USD has pushed down coffee prices on both exchanges.
The USD gained slightly against major currencies, including the Japanese yen and the euro, in the latest trading session as data showed slowing inflation, along with investor concerns about the impacts of US President Donald Trump’s tariff policies.
The trade war between the US and its trading partners has increased uncertainty in commodity transactions.
Selling pressure from Vietnam has increased due to abundant supply. Meanwhile, investment funds are reducing long positions, and demand from roasters has somewhat weakened. These factors have contributed to the current decline in coffee prices.
According to preliminary statistics, Vietnam’s coffee exports in February 2025 were estimated at 150,000 tons, valued at 854 million USD, up 11.9% in volume and 17.2% in value compared to January 2025. Compared to February 2024, exports decreased by 5.6% in volume but increased by 61.7% in value.
In the first two months of 2025, Vietnam exported 284,000 tons of coffee, valued at 1.58 billion USD, down 28.4% in volume but up 26.2% in value compared to the same period in 2024, due to higher export prices.
