AsemconnectVietnam - According to the statistics figures from the General Department of Customs, Vietnam's export turnover to the German market in January of 2025 reached 863.7 million USD, up by 18.2% over the previous month and 11.7% over the same month last year.

The third group was the group of other machinery, equipment, tools and spare parts reaching 124.5 million, accounting for 14.4% of the proportion.
Some items had a good growth rate in the first month of 2025 compared to the previous month, such as coffee increased by 80%; iron and steel products increased by 113.1%; pepper increased by 70.1%; paper and paper products increased by 204.5%; iron and steel of all kinds increased by 124.3%.
Germany is one of the markets with many strict regulations in Europe, so, to boost exports as well as increase the market share of vegetables, tubers and fruits in this market, according to the Import-Export Department, Vietnamese export enterprises need to meet the requirements of the import market well. In addition to the minimum mandatory requirements of the market, buyers will also have specific requirements for each type of product. Germany is a place where very large and effective international fairs are held. Enterprises should plan to participate in international fairs to promote products and find partners.
Along with that, by taking advantage of the opportunities brought by the EVFTA, Vietnam's export of vegetables, tubers and fruits to the German market is expected to achieve even higher growth in the coming time.
