AsemconnectVietnam - According to the statistics figures from the General Department of Customs, Vietnam's export turnover to the Netherlands in January of 2025 reached 1.04 billion USD, down by 10.1% compared to the previous month and down by 0.8% compared to the same month last year.

Leading the export turnover in January of 2025 was the group of computers, electronic products and components reached 273.6 million USD, down by 24.6% compared to the previous month and up by 20.9% compared to the same month last year, accounting for 26.1% of the total export value. The next was the group of goods: machinery, equipment, tools and spare parts reached 177.7 million USD, down by 9.3% compared to the previous month and down by 16.2% compared to the same month last year.
Some items with increased export turnover to the Dutch market in January of 2025 compared to the same period last year: coffee increased by 99.5%; means of transport and spare parts increased by 80.3%; cameras, camcorders and components increased by 43.7%; and rubber increased by 38.8%.
The Netherlands has been considered the gateway to the EU market, the leading transit point in Europe and the world for vegetables, tubers and fruits. In particular, EVFTA is bringing many new opportunities for Vietnamese and Dutch businesses.
The EU is a dynamic market. The great cooperation opportunities in the field of vegetable and fruit trade are concentrated in cooperative relationships with Dutch traders - where import capacity from developing countries has grown quite strongly in recent years.
