AsemconnectVietnam - According to the statistics figures from the General Department of Customs, in January of 2025, the whole country exported 147,504 tonnes of fertilizers of all kinds, equivalent to over 60.71 million USD, with an average price of 411.6 USD/tonne, down by 4.7% in volume, down by 7.1% in turnover and down by 2.5% in price compared to December of 2024.

In comparison to January of 2024, it decreased by 18.2% in volume, down by 16.7% in turnover but increased by 1.8% in price.
Vietnam's fertilizer exports were mainly to the Korean market, which alone accounted for 36.9% of the total volume and 34% of the total fertilizer export turnover of the country, reaching 54,490 tonnes, equivalent to 20.62 million USD, with an average price of 378.4 USD/tonne, up by 70.7% in volume, up by 59.2% in turnover but down by 6.8% in price compared to December of 2024.
In comparison to January of 2024, it also increased by 15.4% in volume, up by 6.6% in turnover but down by 7.7%. The next was the Cambodian market with 39,999 tonnes, equivalent to 16.34 million USD, with an average price of 408.4 USD/tonne, down by 28.6% in volume, down by 23.1% in turnover but up by 7.6% in price. In comparison to January of 2024, it increased by 5.9% in volume, increased by 1.6% in turnover but decreased by 4.1% in price; accounting for nearly 27.1% in total volume and 26.9% in total fertilizer export turnover of the country.
The exports to the Malaysian market reached 14,925 tonnes, equivalent to 5.53 million USD, average price 370.6 USD/tonne, increased by 39% in volume, but decreased by 1.8% in turnover and decreased by 29.4% in price compared to December of 2024. In comparison to January of 2024, the volume, turnover and price increased by 14.2%, 33.4% and 16.9% respectively; accounting for 10.1% in total volume and 9.1% in total turnover.
