AsemconnectVietnam - Hai An Transport and Stevedoring JSC (code HAH - HOSE) plans to buy ATOUT ship from the seller Thales Navigation S.A of Trust Company Complex, the source of capital for the ship purchase is financed by HSBC Bank (Vietnam) - Hanoi Branch.

In 2025, Hai An plans to reach a total output of over 1.5 million TEUs, up 12.6% over the same period, total revenue of VND4,243 billion, up 5.4% over the same period and the parent company's after-tax profit is expected to be VND702 billion, up 8% over the same period last year.
In addition, Hai An also approved a plan to borrow capital from HSBC Bank (Vietnam) Limited - Hanoi Branch with an amount not exceeding VND 300 billion, loan term of 60 months, the purpose of financing the cost of purchasing a 100A1 container ship named ATOUT and IMO number 9354648 (ATOUT ship).
Previously, Hai An approved a plan to purchase ATOUT ship from the seller, Thales Navigation S.A of Trust Company Complex (headquartered in Ajeltake Island, Majuro, Marshall Islands) under the sales contract dated January 16, 2025.
Therein, the Company will authorize Mr. Vu Thanh Hai, Chairman of the Board of Directors; Mr. Nguyen Ngoc Tuan, General Director and Mr. Tran Van Quyen, Director of HACT to sign the contract and carry out procedures related to receiving the transfer of the ship.
In terms of business activities, in the fourth quarter of 2024, Hai An recorded revenue of VND1,210.7 billion, an increase of 82.1% over the same period; the parent company's after-tax profit reached VND280.2 billion, an increase of 345% over the same period last year. In which, the gross profit margin improved from 17% to 42.8%.
Explaining the impressive business growth in the fourth quarter, Hai An said that the Company had 4 more ships put into operation (Alfa, Beta, Opus, Gama), the transport output and freight rates in the fourth quarter of 2024 increased, leading to a sharp increase in revenue and profit from ship operations. In addition, the number of chartered ships and freight rates increased in the last quarter of 2024.
Accumulated in 2024, Hai An recorded revenue of VND3,992.1 billion, an increase of 52.8%; The parent company's after-tax profit reached VND650.5 billion, up 69% over the previous year.
In 2024, Hai An plans to have revenue of VND3,326.2 billion, and the parent company's after-tax profit of VND290.3 billion. Thus, by the end of 2024, with the parent company's after-tax profit reaching VND650.5 billion, Hai An has completed 224.1% of the plan.
