AsemconnectVietnam - According to the statistics figures from the General Department of Customs, the export turnover of Vietnamese goods to the Chinese market in January of 2025 reached over 3.64 billion USD, down by 40.8% compared to the previous month and down by 19.9% compared to the same period last year.

Leading the export turnover in January of 2025 was the group of computers, electronic products and components reaching 893.03 million USD, up by 4.7% over the same period last year, accounting for 24.4% of the export proportion; followed by the group of phones of all kinds and components reaching 603.8 million USD, down by 17.8%, accounting for 16.5% of the proportion; and then by the group of cameras, camcorders and components reaching 316.5 million USD, down by 41.8% over the same period last year, accounting for 8.6% of the export proportion.
The groups of goods with export turnover growth in January of 2025 compared to the same period last year included seafood increased by 79.8%; rice increased by 153%; iron and steel products increased by 12.8%; furniture products made from materials other than wood increased by 52.8%.
China is identified as a key export market for agricultural, forestry and aquatic products of Vietnam. In addition to strong products such as vegetables, fruits, aquatic products, businesses are focusing on increasing market share of products with great potential such as rubber, pepper, cassava, etc.
