An estimated 4.53 million tonnes will be shipped in the first half of the year, with over 3 million tonnes in the latter half.

Vietnam’s total rice cultivation area in 2025 is estimated at 7 million hectares, down 132,000 hectares from 2024, with total output projected at 43.14 million tonnes, a decrease of 323,000 tonnes year-on-year.
