AsemconnectVietnam - According to preliminary statistics from the General Department of Customs, in 2024, the export turnover of phones and components of all kinds nationwide reached over 53.89 billion USD, an increase of 2.9% compared to 2023.

This was the 2nd largest group of goods in terms of turnover among Vietnam's export groups (after the group of electronic computers and components), accounting for 13.3% of the total export turnover of goods nationwide.
In December of 2024 alone, exports of phones and components reached over 3.65 billion USD, down by 3.2% compared to November of 2024 and down by 1.5% compared to December of 2023.
Vietnam exported the most phones and components to the Chinese market in 2024, reaching nearly 15.44 billion USD, down by 8.5% compared to 2023, accounting for 28.7% of the total export turnover of phones and components of all kinds of the country. In December of 2024 alone, the country’s exports of phones and components to the Chinese market reached over 1.78 billion USD, up by 59.7% compared to November of 2024 and up by 11.5% compared to December of 2023.
The second largest market was the US, reaching over 9.82 billion USD, up by 24.3%, accounting for 18.2%. In December of 2024 alone, the figure decreased by 26.2% compared to November of 2024 and decreased by 14.2% compared to December of 2023, reaching 474.32 million USD. The next was the South Korean market reached nearly 3.56 billion USD, accounting for 6.6%, up by 1.3% compared to 2023, the exports to the U.A.E market reached over 3.17 billion USD, up sharply by 49.1%; and the exports to the Indian market reached 1.69 billion USD, up sharply by 62.6%.
