AsemconnectVietnam - The Board of Directors of Binh Dien Fertilizer Joint Stock Company (BFC - HOSE) has just approved an impressive report on production and business results for the fourth quarter of 2024 and the whole year.

Specifically, in the fourth quarter of 2024, the Company recorded a total revenue of more than VND2,501 billion, an increase of 12.2% over the same period last year and double the previously approved quarterly plan (VND1,246.1 billion); consolidated pre-tax profit reached VND124.8 billion, an increase of 85.1% and exceeding the plan by 256.6% (VND35 billion).
In the whole year, Binh Dien Fertilizer achieved a total revenue of more than VND9,489 billion, an increase of 9% compared to 2023; pre-tax profit reached VND531.1 billion, up 170.6% compared to the previous year, this is the biggest profit figure ever of the Company.
Thus, compared to the previously set plan for 2024 of total revenue of VND7,137 billion and pre-tax profit of VND210 billion, the Company has exceeded 32.96% and reached more than 152.9% of the set targets.
Regarding the production and business plan for the first quarter of 2025, the Board of Directors of the Company approved the production output target of 110,300 tons, consumption output of 100,300 tons, total revenue of VND1,336.4 billion and consolidated pre-tax profit of VND45.5 billion.
Recently, on December 30, 2024, Binh Dien Fertilizer paid the first cash dividend of 2024 at a rate of 5%, meaning that shareholders owning 1 share will receive VND500. Meanwhile, the Company plans to pay a cash dividend of 15% in 2024. Thus, to complete the goal, BFC will also pay a 10% cash dividend to existing shareholders.
In addition to positive business results, BFC's stock performance also had a good year, in which in early July 2024 it reached a historical peak at 47,700 VND/share. However, BFC then turned around and ended 2024 with an increase of more than 50%. Currently, BFC is temporarily standing at a price of 36,950 VND/share when closing the trading session on the morning of January 16, 2025.
