PVOIL (OIL) aims for VND150 trillion revenue in 2025
Monday, February 3,2025AsemconnectVietnam - On January 14, 2025, in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam Oil Corporation (PVOIL) held a conference to deploy the 2025 business plan, with the target of this year's revenue reaching VND150 trillion.
At the conference, many solutions were discussed and agreed upon, demonstrating PVOIL's determination to achieve the target of VND150 trillion in revenue this year.
Mr. Cao Hoai Duong - Party Secretary, Chairman of the Board of Directors of PVOIL and Mr. Nguyen Dang Trinh - Deputy Party Secretary, General Director of PVOIL chaired the conference; with the participation of all leaders, key officials of the Corporation and its affiliated units and member units.
Vietnam Oil Corporation has identified 2025 as an important year, the final year to implement the Resolution of the Party Congress of the Corporation for the 2020-2025 term, to implement the 5-year plan 2021-2025; at the same time, based on the assigned plan, as well as Petrovietnam's expectations, PVOIL has proactively developed a production and business plan higher than the assigned target, especially aiming for breakthrough targets in revenue with the target of reaching VND150 trillion in revenue in 2025; an increase of 15% compared to the record just set in 2024.
This is a very challenging task, in the context of the extremely difficult petroleum business sector in 2024 (gasoline prices fluctuated in a downward direction, exchange rates increased sharply and remained at a high level...); forecasts of difficulties and fluctuations will continue this year.
In that situation, PVOIL will focus on implementing management methods: Change management, value chain management, ecosystem management, digital platform-based management; thoroughly implementing the motto "renewing traditional motivation, adding new motivation", ready to transform the business model in line with the current strong trend of digital transformation and energy transition. Leaders of PVOIL's Departments and units presented speeches, as well as discussed solutions to complete the 2025 plan; in which, focusing on solutions in business, investment and international business to create momentum for PVOIL's growth. Specific solutions include: ensuring supply, continuing to promote the development of petrol stations, expanding the market, improving the business efficiency of existing petrol stations, strengthening the implementation of non-petrol services at petrol stations, inventory management, developing new product business...
At the Conference, Chairman of the Board of Directors of PVOIL Cao Hoai Duong emphasized that the leaders of the Vietnam Oil and Gas Group have set tasks for PVOIL with the highest expectations; the goal for 2025 is that PVOIL will continue to be the revenue center of the Group, growing compared to the previous year and setting a new record.
Therefore, in addition to business solutions and petrol station development, in 2025, the Company needs to focus especially on related infrastructure development projects to deploy Jet A1 business according to the set schedule. Along with that, focus on other projects, such as upgrading and modernizing pump stations, thereby promoting the application of digital transformation in business operations; reviewing CHXDs with suitable conditions to implement long-distance truck rest stop projects; maximizing the commercial location advantage of the petrol stations to develop non-petroleum services at the petrol stations to increase efficiency and adapt to the energy transition trend...
Concluding the Conference, Mr. Nguyen Dang Trinh - General Director of PVOIL commented that although the assigned plan in 2025 is extremely challenging in the context of many difficulties, the solutions and plans discussed at the Conference showed the determination, efforts and confidence of the entire system in carrying out the tasks in 2025.
PVOIL General Director analyzed PVOIL's growth opportunities in the general context of the economy and state management, when the Government set a target of striving for the growth of the country's economy at a "double-digit" level.
Mr. Trinh added that the Corporation will focus resources on implementing related tasks and projects to create new momentum for development in 2025 and the following years. With the determination to strive for higher growth next year than the previous year, along with the established foundations, competitiveness, flexible policies, dynamism of the leadership and employees in the entire system, PVOIL is confident in completing the 2025 plan goals.
