Vietnam's exports to the Netherlands increased by 27.5% in the first 11 months of this year

AsemconnectVietnam - The Netherlands, the largest consumer market for Vietnamese goods in the EU-27, has seen a strong economic recovery in 2024 after a contraction in 2023.
The country has significant potential in the export sector, both globally and specifically for Vietnam. With its rich natural resources and increasingly developed industrial sector, Vietnam has many export products with strong potential to the Dutch market, including agricultural products, handicrafts, textiles, footwear, and electronics.
According to data from Vietnam's General Department of Customs, bilateral trade between Vietnam and the Netherlands has grown strongly and maintained stable growth in recent years. The Netherlands is one of Vietnam's important trade partners in the European region. The trade relationship between the two countries is further supported through regional and global cooperation mechanisms, including the EU-Vietnam Free Trade Agreement (EVFTA), which both countries are part of. Bilateral trade between Vietnam and the Netherlands has remained around 11 billion USD, with the trade value reaching 11.1 billion USD in 2022 and 10.9 billion USD in 2023, marking a significant increase from 7.66 billion USD in 2020.

According to data from the General Department of Customs, Vietnam's exports to the Netherlands reached 11.8 billion USD in the first 11 months of this year, an increase of 27.5% compared to the same period last year.
