AsemconnectVietnam - From the beginning of the year to December 15, there were 6 key export commodity groups with an increase in turnover of 1 billion USD or more, according to the latest statistics of the General Department of Customs.

Specifically, from the beginning of the year to December 15, 2024, Vietnam's total export turnover reached 385.35 billion USD, an increase of 13.9% (equivalent to an increase of 46.92 billion USD) compared to the same period of 2023.
Notably, there were 6 key export commodity groups with an increase in turnover of 1 billion USD or more.
Of which, computers, electronic products and components increased the most with 14.38 billion USD (equivalent to an increase of 26.6%). This was also the only commodity group with growth of tens of billions of dollars.
The remaining 5 commodity groups include: machinery, equipment, tools and spare parts increased by 8.54 billion USD (equivalent to an increase of 20.8%); textiles and garments increased by 3.29 billion USD (equivalent to an increase of 10.4%); wood and wood products increased by 2.63 billion USD (equivalent to an increase of 20.6%); footwear of all kinds increased by 2.35 billion USD (equivalent to an increase of 12.21%); phones and components increased by 1.14 billion USD (equivalent to an increase of 2.26%). With 32.33 billion USD, the above 6 groups of goods alone accounted for 68.9% of the total increased export turnover of the whole country.
