Meanwhile, in the first 11 months of 2024, the country's imported fertilizer volume reached over 4.82 million tonnes, worth of nearly 1.59 billion USD.

According to statistics from the General Department of Customs, in the first 11 months of 2024, the country exported over 1.57 million tonnes of fertilizers of all kinds, equivalent to nearly 644.46 million USD, with an average price of 410 USD/tonne, up by 13.7% in volume, up by 11.6% in turnover but down slightly by 1.8% in price compared to the same period of 2023.
In November of 2024 alone, 130,728 tonnes of fertilizers of all kinds were exported, reaching 53.83 million USD, with a price of 411.8 USD/tonne, down by 11.4% in volume, down by 10% in turnover but up by 1.5% in price compared to October of 2024. In comparison to November of 2023, there was a sharp increase of 56.5% in volume, 43.9% in turnover but a decrease of 8% in price.
Vietnam's main fertilizer export markets in 11 months of 2024
Vietnam's fertilizers are mainly exported to the Cambodian market, which alone accounted for over 34% of the total volume and total export turnover of the country's fertilizers, reaching 536,161 tonnes, equivalent to 219.51 million USD, with an average price of 409.4 USD/tonne, up by 8.4% in volume, up by 5.5% in turnover but down by 2.7% in price compared to the same period of 2023. In November of 2024 alone, the exports to this market reached 57,609 tonnes, equivalent to 22.14 million USD, with an average price of 384.3 USD/tonne, down by 3.5% in volume, down by 4.5% in turnover and down by 1.1% in price compared to October of 2024.
Following the main market of Cambodia was the Korean market with 188,258 tonnes, equivalent to 76.18 million USD, average price of 404.7 USD/tonne, a sharp increase of 211.9% in volume, 230.6% in turnover and 6% in price, accounting for nearly 12% of the total volume and total export turnover of fertilizers of the whole country.
The exports to the Philippine market reached 96,438 tonnes, equivalent to 41.33 million USD, the average price was 428.6 USD/tonne, up by 83.2% in volume, up by 73% in turnover and price decreased by 5.6%, accounting for 6.1% of the total volume and 6.4% of the total turnover.

In the first 11 months of 2024, the country's fertilizer imports reached over 4.82 million tonnes, worth of nearly 1.59 billion USD, with an average price of 329.6 USD/tonne.
According to preliminary statistics from the General Department of Customs, in November of 2024, the country imported 474,847 tonnes of fertilizer, equivalent to 157.05 million USD, with an average price of 330.7 USD/tonne, down by 7.8% in volume, down by 1% in turnover but up by 7.4% in price compared to October of 2024. In comparison to November of 2023, it increased by 30% in volume, increased by 13.2% in turnover but decreased by 13% in price,
In general, in the first 11 months of 2024, the country's imported fertilizer volume reached over 4.82 million tonnes, worth of nearly 1.59 billion USD, the average price reached 329.6 USD/tonne, up by 30.9% in volume, up by 25.6% in turnover but decreased by 4.1% in price compared to the same period of 2023.
Vietnam's main fertilizer import markets in the first 11 months of 2024
China was still the leading fertilizer supplier to Vietnam, accounting for 43.7% of the total volume and 42.4% of the total fertilizer import turnover of the country, reaching over 2.1 million tonnes, equivalent to 673.48 million USD, the average price is 320.1 USD/tonne, up by 14.7% in volume and 12.2% in value over the same period of 2023 but down slightly by 2.2% in price. The Russian market ranked second, accounting for 11.3% of the total volume and 14.3% of the total turnover, with 545,641 tonnes, equivalent to 227.79 million USD, an average price of 417.5 USD/tonne, up by 135% in volume, up by 109.7% in turnover but down by 10.8% in price compared to the same period of 2023.
Fertilizer imports from the Lao market reached 315,085 tonnes, equivalent to 81.53 million USD, priced at 258.8 USD/tonne, up by 20% in volume, but down by 6.7% in turnover and down by 22.2% in price compared to the same period of 2023, accounting for 6.5% of the total volume and 5.1% of the total fertilizer import turnover of the whole country,
In general, in the first 11 months of 2024, fertilizer imports from many countries number of markets increased compared to the same period of 2023.
