Cinnamon export in 11 months of 2024 earned nearly 250 million USD

According to Vietnam Pepper and Spice Association, in November 2024, Vietnam exported 10,754 tonnes of cinnamon with a total export turnover of 28.8 million USD, an increase of 5.8% compared to October.
India and the United States are two main cinnamon export markets of Vietnam, reaching 4,429 tonnes and 1,253 tonnes, accounting for 41.2% and 11.7% respectively. Meanwhile, Prosi Thang Long continues to be the largest exporter, accounting for 15.6% of export market share, reaching 1,673 tonnes. Next are the enterprises: Son Ha Spices reached 699 tonnes, Tuan Minh reached 676 tonnes, Senspices reached 531 tonnes and Olam Vietnam reached 440 tonnes.
In the first 11 months of 2024, Vietnam exported 90,270 tonnes of cinnamon, with a total export turnover of 249.2 million USD, compared to the same period last year, export volume increased by 10.2%, export turnover increased by 3.9%.
The leading exporting enterprises include: Prosi Thang Long reached 13,213 tonnes, accounting for 14.6%; Son Ha Spices reached 5,649 tonnes, accounting for 6.3%; Tuan Minh reached 4,372 tonnes, accounting for 4.8%; Senspice Vietnam reached 3,974 tonnes, accounting for 4.4% and Olam Vietnam reached 3,677 tonnes, accounting for 4.1%.
Main export markets of Vietnamese cinnamon include: India with 31,829 tonnes, accounting for 35.3%; the United States with 9,867 tonnes, accounting for 10.9% and Bangladesh with 7,536 tonnes, accounting for 8.3% of market share.
