AsemconnectVietnam - FDI enterprises dominate all the largest import-export commodity groups of our country, especially export goods.

According to the latest preliminary statistics of the General Department of Customs, by the end of November, the total import-export turnover of the whole country reached 715.56 billion USD, an increase of 15.4%, equivalent to (an increase of 95.32 billion USD) compared to the same period last year.
In particular, the import-export turnover of enterprises with foreign direct investment (FDI) reached 484 billion USD, an increase of 13.7% (equivalent to an increase of 58.41 billion USD) compared to the same period last year and accounted for 67.6% of the total turnover of the whole country
The total import-export turnover of domestic enterprises was 231.56 billion USD, an increase of 19% (equivalent to an increase of 36.91 billion USD) compared to the same period last year.
The exports of FDI enterprises in 11 months reached 264.43 billion USD, up by 12.6% (equivalent to an increase of 29.51 billion USD) compared to the same period last year, accounting for 71.5% of the country's total export turnover.
Notably, many large export groups are dominated by FDI enterprises.
For example, the largest export group was computers, electronic products and components, 96.58% of the turnover comes from FDI enterprises.
In the second largest group was phones and components, FDI enterprises also accounted for up to 99.69%. In the third largest group of goods, machinery, equipment, tools, and spare parts, FDI enterprises also accounted for 87.52%. In terms of imports, the total import turnover of FDI enterprises reached 219.57 billion USD, up by 15.2% (equivalent to an increase of 28.91 billion USD) over the same period last year, accounting for 63.5% of the country's total import turnover.
