AsemconnectVietnam - On December 5, 2024, FPT Corporation announced the establishment of FPT Smart Cloud Japan Co., Ltd., headquartered in Tokyo, Japan. The company is tasked with developing an ecosystem of products and solutions applying AI and Cloud technology to serve customers in the Japanese market as well as throughout Asia.

The establishment of a company specializing in AI and Cloud in Japan is an important step in realizing FPT's strategy in the above two fields in this country, after the corporation launched FPT AI Factory in Japan in November.
According to IDC's report, Japan's AI market is expected to reach a value of USD5.9 billion this year, a growth of 31.2%. This is a large space for FPT's new company to cooperate with organizations in Japan to access and apply high technology. FPT aims to develop sovereign AI and realize the common vision of making Japan an AI nation.

FPT AI Factory will provide 3 main product groups. In particular, FPT AI Infrastructure brings GPU cloud services with top-notch supercomputing capacity to accelerate the construction and deployment of large AI models; FPT AI Studio platform provides smart tools for building, training and in-depth fine-tuning of AI models thanks to the NVIDIA NeMo application; FPT AI Inference, combined with NVIDIA NIM and NVIDIA AI Blueprints, enables the efficient deployment and expansion of these models in terms of scale and number of uses.
