AsemconnectVietnam - Hydropower - Power 3 JSC (code DRL) has just announced its financial - production and business plan for 2025 and its plan to organize the 2025 Annual General Meeting of Shareholders.

In 2025, Hydropower - Power 3 targets all indicators to increase slightly by 1 - 2% compared to the 2024 plan. Of which, the target of commercial electricity output is 75.3 million kWh; total revenue is over VND97.8 billion; after-tax profit is approximately VND42 billion.
Notably, DRL still maintains a high dividend rate of 41%, a slight increase compared to 40% in 2024. In September 2024, DRL completed the first dividend payment of 2024 to shareholders, at a rate of 20%. By December 20, DRL will pay an interim dividend of 2024 at a rate of 10%.
DRL's Board of Directors said that based on the results of the 2024 production and business plan and the actual situation in the coming time, the Board of Directors will consider adjusting the financial and business plan targets for 2025 accordingly before submitting them to the 2025 General Meeting of Shareholders, scheduled to be held on March 3, 2025 for approval.
Regarding business performance, in the third quarter of 2024, DRL achieved VND20 billion in revenue, down 25% year-on-year, and profit after tax also decreased by 39%, to only VND8.8 billion.
In the explanatory document, Hydropower - Power 3 said that the amount of water to serve electricity production in the third quarter of 2024 did not meet expectations, leading to a decrease in commercial electricity output, dragging profits down.
In the first 9 months, DRL recorded VND60 billion in revenue and VND31 billion in profit after tax, down 19% and 27% respectively compared to the same period last year. With this result, the enterprise achieved 62% of the revenue target (VND96.7 billion) and more than 74% of the profit after tax target for the whole year (VND41.4 billion).
