The award not only affirms the brand reputation of Phenikaa Group and Vicostone but also recognizes the Group's efforts in the journey of creating good values for the community and society, contributing to the sustainable development of the country.
On November 29, 2024, in Hanoi, within the framework of the Program for Assessment and Announcement of Sustainable Enterprises in Vietnam in 2024 (CSI 2024) jointly implemented by the Vietnam Federation of Commerce and Industry (VCCI) and other ministries and branches, Phenikaa Group and Vicostone JSC - a member unit of the Group, have successfully surpassed more than 500 registered enterprises, continuing to be included in the List of Top 100 Sustainable Development Enterprises in Vietnam 2024. Sharing about the results achieved, a representative of Phenikaa Group said: "Clearly aware of the challenges of climate change, the responsibility of economic development in parallel with environmental protection and promoting a sustainable social community, Phenikaa Group and its member units have built an action strategy based on the principle of realizing commitments, harmonizing interests with all stakeholders, contributing to the National Agenda for Sustainable Development 2030 according to the 17 Sustainable Development Goals of the United Nations. This goal is clearly reflected through the commitment and implementation of priorities in 3 areas: Environment, Society and Governance (ESG).”
Environmental - Green environment
With the orientation of sustainable development and a solid foundation in science and technology, in the field of industrial production, Phenikaa not only applies and complies with the system of international standards on production, quality, environment... but also constantly innovates, improves technology, machinery, equipment, applies advanced techniques and management models on raw materials, water, energy, emission measurement... to limit the impact on the environment, while increasing production and business efficiency. In particular, by localizing more than 95% of input materials for the production of artificial quartz stone, the Company proactively controls the quality and reduces the carbon footprint on the supply chain of VICOSTONE® stone products.
In the field of technology, Phenikaa Group strives to research and develop innovative solutions to address environmental and social challenges, notably green technology products such as smart autonomous vehicles, AMR Pallet Mover transport robots and unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs)... In addition to contributing to improving labor productivity and ensuring continuity in production and business activities, these technological innovations also minimize the use of fossil fuels, contributing to reducing carbon emissions into the environment, in line with the green transformation trend and the national goal of NetZero.
Social - Happy and sustainable community
Putting people at the center of its development strategy, Phenikaa chooses education and training, and healthcare as two of the four pillars of the Group. Through investment projects in the education system from primary to postgraduate level (Phenikaa High School, Phenikaa University) and the Phenikaa Mec healthcare system..., Phenikaa Group wishes to create long-term, sustainable values for the community, creating highly applicable scientific and technological research achievements, contributing to bringing a higher quality, safer, smarter and happier life every day. In addition, each year, the Group allocates tens of billions of VND in budget for education, local development and social security programs.
