According to the latest statistics of the General Department of Customs, in the first period of November (November 1-15, 2024), the total export turnover of FDI enterprises reached 12.04 billion USD, down by 12.9% (equivalent to a decrease of 1.79 billion USD) compared to the second period of October of 2024.

However, from the beginning of the year to November 15, 2024, the total export turnover of goods of FDI enterprises still grew strongly.

Specifically, the total export turnover of FDI enterprises reached 252.17 billion USD, up by 13% (equivalent to an increase of 28.94 billion USD) compared to the same period last year, accounting for 72% of the total export turnover of the whole country.

In contrast, the imports of FDI enterprises in the first period of November reached 10.43 billion USD, down by 5.8% (equivalent to a decrease of 643 million USD) compared to the second period of October of 2024.

Similar to exports, although there was a downward trend in the first half of November, in general, from the beginning of the year to November 15, 2024, the total import turnover of FDI enterprises still grew strongly.

The import turnover of FDI enterprises in the past 10 months reached 209.16 billion USD, up by 15.3% (equivalent to an increase of 27.79 billion USD) compared to the same period in 2023, accounting for 63.6% of the total import turnover of the whole country.

FDI enterprises are present in most of the key import and export groups of our country, especially having a great advantage in groups worth tens of billions of dollars such as: computers, electronic products and components; phones and components; machinery, equipment, tools, spare parts, etc.
