AsemconnectVietnam - Computers, electronic products and components continued to be the largest import group of our country.

According to the General Department of Customs, in October, the total import turnover of goods reached 33.6 billion USD, up by 5.8% over the previous month (equivalent to an increase of 1.84 billion USD).
In the 10 months, the total import turnover of goods nationwide reached 312.28 billion USD, up by 16.8% (equivalent to an increase of 45.03 billion USD) over the same period last year.
In which, the imports of group of computers, electronic products and components increased the most.
Specifically, in October, the import turnover of computers, electronic products and components reached 9.41 billion USD, down slightly by 3.1% (equivalent to a decrease of 298 million USD) compared to the previous month.
But in the first 10 months, imports of computers, electronic products and components still increased by 23.7% (equivalent to an increase of 16.9 billion USD).
With a total turnover of 88.25 billion USD in the first 10 months, this group of goods alone accounted for 28.26% of the total import turnover of the whole country.
Computers, electronic products and components continued to maintain the No. 1 position in terms of turnover among the import groups of our country.
Major markets supplying this group of goods to Vietnam included China with 28.52 billion USD, up by 51.3% over the same period of 2023; South Korea with 26.39 billion USD, up by 14.2%; Taiwan (China) with 11.35 billion USD, up by 32.8%.
