AsemconnectVietnam - In the first 10 months of the year, Sao Ta Food JSC (FMC - HOSE)'s sales are estimated at USD210.25 million, exceeding the annual sales plan of USD210 million.

In October, Sao Ta said that finished shrimp production reached 1,866 tons, down 27% year-on-year; but finished shrimp sales reached 2,043 tons, up 23%.
In addition, the Company achieved 75 tons of finished agricultural product production and 122 tons of finished agricultural product sales, down 44% and 11% respectively compared to the same period last year.
As a result, Sao Ta's October sales reached USD23.25 million, up 26% year-on-year.
Up to now, FMC's farms have been prepared and will release the breed from mid-November when the weather is favorable.
Previously, Sao Ta announced its business results for the third quarter of 2024 with net revenue reaching VND2,845 billion, up 59% over the same period last year; profit after tax was approximately VND95 billion, up 6% over the same period.
According to Sao Ta's explanation, in the third quarter, sales increased by nearly 59% but profit after tax only increased by more than 6% over the same period last year due to the sudden increase in raw material prices at the end of the third quarter, making the payment of orders not as effective as expected.
Accumulated in the first 9 months of this year, Sao Ta Food recorded revenue of VND5,549 billion and profit before tax of VND232 billion, up 45% and 7% respectively over the same period last year. Thereby, completing 107% of the revenue target and 73% of the profit target for this year.
