The report shows that Viettel Global's sales and service revenue reached nearly VND9,130 billion, up 25% compared to the third quarter of 2023, 5 times higher than the world's telecommunications growth rate (4.1% according to Gartner). Viettel Global recorded 11 consecutive quarters of net revenue growth compared to the same period.
In the third quarter, sales and service revenue in all Viettel Global markets had typical growth such as Lumitel in Burundi increased by 80%, Natcom in Haiti increased by 28%, Movitel in Mozambique increased by 21%, Telemor in East Timor increased by 20%.
In particular, the revenue of e-wallet companies grew very impressively such as Lumicash (Burundi) increased by 82%, M_mola (Mozambique) increased by 80%, Halopesa (Tanzania) increased by 45%, Emoney (Cambodia) increased by 16%.
In the first 9 months of 2024, Viettel Global's revenue reached VND25,724 billion - an increase of 25%, pre-tax profit reached VND6,037 billion - an increase of 162% and after-tax profit reached VND3,477 billion - an increase of 343% compared to the first 9 months of 2023.
