AsemconnectVietnam - In the first 9 months of 2024, PetroVietnam Transportation Corporation (PVTrans, code PVT - HOSE) estimates revenue of VND8,100 billion, equivalent to 125% of the 9-month plan, pre-tax profit of VND1,200 billion, equivalent to 172% of the 9-month plan and state budget contribution of VND 380 billion, equivalent to 146% of the 9-month plan.

In 2024, PVTrans plans to have revenue of VND8,800 billion and pre-tax profit of VND950 billion.
Thus, ending the first 9 months of 2024 with revenue of VND8,100 billion and pre-tax profit of VND1,200 billion, PVTrans has achieved 92% of the revenue target and exceeded the profit target of the year by 26.3%.
Regarding fleet development, previously, on September 9, 2024 in Singapore, Gas Shipping Joint Stock Company (Gas Shipping, code GSP - HOSE floor), a member unit of PVTrans, successfully received the LPG Hai Phong Gas ship.
Hai Phong Gas is a liquefied petroleum gas tanker (LPG tanker) with a capacity of about 5,000 CBM, length of 99.98m, width of 17.8m. The ship was built in 2010 in Japan, fully meeting the strict standards of the maritime industry and high technical requirements of international customers.
Immediately after being received, the Hai Phong Gas vessel was put into operation in the Asia-Pacific region.
As of early September 2024, PVTrans owns and manages 55 vessels, of various types from crude oil tankers, product oil tankers, oil/chemical tankers, LPG tankers and bulk carriers with a total fleet tonnage of over 1.5 million DWT, more than 85% of the fleet is serving the international market.
In addition, in less than 2 years from 2023 to the third quarter of 2024, PVTrans has received 17 new vessels, an increase of 30% in quantity, improving transport capacity, strong competitiveness and long-term vision in expanding the scale and rejuvenating the fleet.
