FPT opens second office in Germany

 Thursday, September 26,2024

AsemconnectVietnam - FPT opens a second office in Germany to expand FPT's new customer base in Europe in the fields of automotive, manufacturing and green transformation.

FPT's new office in Germany is located on the 26th floor, Nuremberg Business Building, Ostendstr 100, 90482 Nuremberg, Bavaria.
Based on its core strengths in IoT, Data & Cloud, Digital Twins, AUTOSAR and Embedded Software, the new office is expected to become an important innovation center for FPT in Europe.
Nuremberg is an important traffic hub connecting the North and South of Germany as well as many other European countries, and is one of the largest industrial and mechanical centers in Germany. This strategic location brings convenience for FPT to get closer to large corporations such as Volkswagen, BMW, ZF and Daimler.
Speaking at the opening ceremony, Mr. Tran Van Dung, CEO of FPT Software Europe shared: “Europe is an important pillar in our global expansion strategy. We have set strategic directions in line with the region's development focus on AI, smart mobility and green transformation, and are committed to continuously bringing advanced technology solutions, customized to suit the specific business goals of our customers.”
The office opening ceremony was held within the framework of the Nuremberg Technology Forum in Germany, attended by more than 120 business leaders and included discussions on the future of sustainable technology, highlighting the impact of generative AI and other emerging technologies in driving innovation, operational efficiency and optimizing business resources.
Since entering the European market in 2008, FPT has affirmed its position as a trusted partner promoting digital transformation for more than 150 leading enterprises in many fields, including large German corporations such as E.ON, Schaeffler, Viessmann and ebm-papst.
As one of the key markets, Europe has received strong investment from FPT in recent times. The company established its first office in Sweden in early September, acquired French IT consulting company AOSIS in 2023, and completed a merger and acquisition with RWE IT Slovakia, a member of Europe's leading energy group RWE, in 2014.
In Germany alone, FPT was honored in the list of "Great Places to Work" last July, according to the Great Place to Work Institute. By 2030, FPT in Europe aims to recruit 1,000 employees, of which 50% are local experts and talents.
With many strategic steps, FPT expects to quickly achieve the target of USSD5 billion in revenue from foreign markets by 2030.
