AsemconnectVietnam - According to the General Department of Customs, by the end of August, the total export turnover of the whole country reached 265.44 billion USD, an increase of 15.9% over the same period last year.

Notably, there were 10 groups of goods that increased by over 1 billion USD compared to the same period last year.
The 10 export groups with a growth of billions of USD include: computers, electronic products and components increased by 10.40 billion USD; machinery, equipment and spare parts increased by 5.89 billion USD; phones of all kinds and components increased by 3.23 billion USD; wood and wood products increased by 1.92 billion USD; textiles increased by 1.82 billion USD; cameras, camcorders and components increased by 1.61 billion USD; footwear of all kinds increased by 1.59 billion USD; vegetables and fruits increased by 1.18 billion USD; coffee increased by 1.05 billion USD; plastic products increased by 1.03 billion USD.
Thus, the 10 main commodity groups alone had an increase in turnover of 29.72 billion USD compared to the same period last year and accounted for 81.5% of the country's export turnover increase.
The main export markets of the above commodity groups were mainly the United States, EU, China, Korea, Japan, ASEAN, etc.
Regarding export markets, updated by the end of August, the 10 largest markets all grew strongly.
Of which, the exports to 6 markets increased by 1 billion USD or more, including: the United States reached 78.2 billion USD, an increase of 16.08 billion USD; the EU reached 34.08 billion USD, an increase of 5.08 billion USD; China reached 38.1 billion USD, an increase of 1.7 billion USD; ASEAN reached 24.45 billion USD, an increase of 2.84 billion USD; South Korea reached 16.83 billion USD, an increase of 1.3 billion USD; Hong Kong (China) reached 8.1 billion USD, an increase of 2.27 billion USD.
