AsemconnectVietnam - Truong Loc - Binh Thuan Solar Power Company Limited has just announced its basic financial situation in the first half of 2024 with a sharp increase in profit compared to the same period.

In the first half of 2024, the Company's after-tax profit was more than VND31 billion, 6 times higher than the same period last year. This figure is also 10 times higher than the profit of the whole year 2022 (VND3 billion) and 4.7 times higher than the profit of 2023 (VND6.6 billion).
The owner's equity of Truong Loc - Binh Thuan Solar Power at the end of the second quarter was VND507 billion, an increase of nearly 7% compared to the same period last year. The profit after tax/equity ratio was 0.061%, an improvement compared to 0.010% in the same period.
As of June 30, the total assets of the enterprise reached VND1,126.8 billion, and the remaining liabilities were approximately VND620 billion. The debt/equity ratio was 1.222 times. Of which, the enterprise still had more than VND581 billion in outstanding bonds.
To date, Truong Loc - Binh Thuan is circulating only one bond lot coded HL3.BOND.2020 issued on December 23, 2020, with a face value of VND860 billion and a term of 15 years. According to the plan, in the first half of 2024, the Company must pay VND25 billion in principal and more than VND34 billion in bond interest, however, the Company has only paid more than VND2.27 billion in interest and has not paid the principal. To date, the circulating value of this bond lot is VND583.5 billion.
Truong Loc - Binh Thuan Solar Power Company Limited was established in May 2017, headquartered in Phu Thuy Ward, Phan Thiet City, Binh Thuan Province, operating in the main field of electricity transmission and distribution.
Truong Loc - Binh Thuan is the investor of Hong Liem 3 solar power plant located in Hong Liem Commune, Ham Thuan Bac District, Binh Thuan Province with a designed capacity of 50 MWp, put into commercial operation since December 2020. The annual electricity production expected to enter the national grid is 85,228 million kWh/year.
