PVTrans (PVT) to pay a total of more than VND106.8 billion in dividends in 2023
Friday, September 20,2024AsemconnectVietnam - PetroVietnam Transportation Corporation (PVTrans - PVT code: HOSE) approved the plan to pay dividends in 2023 at a rate of 3%, expected payment date is October 10.
On September 20, PVTrans will close the list of shareholders receiving 2023 cash dividends at a rate of 3%, corresponding to shareholders owning 1 share will receive an additional VND300 and the expected payment date is October 10.
With more than 356 million shares in circulation, it is estimated that the Company will pay a total of more than VND106.8 billion in this dividend payment.
In terms of business activities, in the first half of 2024, PVTrans recorded revenue of VND5,524.19 billion, an increase of 32.9% over the same period, and profit after tax of VND678.8 billion, an increase of 7.7% compared to the first half of 2023. In which, gross profit margin improved from 19.6% to 22.4%. During the period, gross profit increased by 51.4% over the same period, equivalent to an increase of VND419.81 billion to VND1,236.5 billion; financial revenue decreased by 28.3%, equivalent to a decrease of VND53.6 billion to VND135.49 billion; financial expenses increased by 77.4%, equivalent to an increase of VND130.84 billion to VND299.92 billion; Sales and administrative expenses increased by 11.7%, equivalent to an increase of VND19.1 billion to VND182.98 billion, and other activities fluctuated insignificantly.
In 2024, PVTrans plans to have revenue of VND8,800 billion, an increase of 29.4% compared to the 2023 plan; profit after tax of VND760 billion, an increase of 41.3% compared to the 2023 plan and pay the state budget of VND354 billion.
Thus, ending the first half of 2024 with a profit after tax of VND678.8 billion, PVTrans has completed 89.3% of the annual plan.
