AsemconnectVietnam - Bac Phuong Wind Power JSC has just announced the basic financial situation of the enterprise in the first half of 2024.

Accordingly, in the first half of 2024, Bac Phuong Wind Power recorded a profit after tax of more than VND36.3 billion, a sudden increase compared to the same period last year when it reached only VND117.7 million.
By the end of the period, Bac Phuong Wind Power's equity was more than VND524.8 billion, an increase of VND57.3 billion compared to the same period. The sudden profit in the first half of this year helped the enterprise's profit after tax/equity ratio improve from 0.03% to 6.92%. The debt to equity ratio was nearly 3.49, corresponding to the enterprise's debt to be VND1,831 billion. Outstanding bonds were nearly VND549 billion.
According to data from the Hanoi Stock Exchange (HNX), Bac Phuong Wind Power is currently circulating the BPGCH2135001 bond lot, with a circulating value of VND549 billion. This is a bond lot issued in the domestic market on June 24, 2021 with a volume (both initial and additional) of 6,000 bonds, par value of VND100 million/bond, equivalent value of VND600 billion, term of 14 years and secured assets. The maturity date of this bond lot will be March 31, 2035. Bac Phuong Wind Power Joint Stock Company operates mainly in the field of electricity generation, transmission and distribution, with a charter capital of VND500 billion. Bac Phuong Wind Power is a member of Bac Phuong Joint Stock Company - a unit that originated as a construction contractor in the fields of road traffic, technical infrastructure, and irrigation embankments, established in 2005. Since 2016, Bac Phuong has started investing in the renewable energy sector.
Bac Phuong has invested in and built the BP Solar Solar Power Plant project with a capacity of 46MW in Ninh Thuan province, connecting to the national grid in 2019. By early 2021, Bac Phuong put into commercial operation the Dong Hai 1 Wind Power Plant - Phase 1, Bac Lieu province with a capacity of 50MW - the first offshore wind power project in Vietnam (outside the dry tide road). After that, the Company continued to implement the Dong Hai 1 Wind Power Plant Project - Phase 2 with a capacity of 50MW, with a total investment of VND2,500 billion.
