AsemconnectVietnam - Vinh Hoan Corporation (code VHC) has just announced its production and business performance in July with revenue increasing by 30% compared to the same period, in which the main product is pangasius, up 54%.

In July, VHC's total revenue reached VND1,120 billion, up 30% compared to the same period last year thanks to the increase of some products. The largest contributor was pangasius, reaching VND608 billion, up 54% compared to the same period and accounting for 54% of total revenue.
In addition, shrimp chips reached VND34 billion, up 67%; noodles and rice paper reached VND33 billion, up 83%; health products reached VND71 billion, up 7% and other products reached VND173 billion, up 24%. In contrast, by-product sales revenue decreased by 10% to VND188 billion.
Regarding export markets, all of Vinh Hoan's markets grew, except for China, which decreased by 13% to VND119 billion. Of which, the US is still the largest consumer market with VND384 billion; the EU grew by 4%, reaching VND159 billion. Notably, the domestic market contributed VND301 billion to Vinh Hoan, up 11%.
Previously, Vinh Hoan announced its 6-month business results with revenue reaching VND6,051 billion, up 22% over the same period, and after-tax profit of the parent company reaching VND484 billion, down 26% over the same period.
It is estimated that in the first 7 months of the year, Vinh Hoan's revenue will reach about VND7,171 billion. In 2024, Vinh Hoan plans to do business with two scenarios.
For the basic scenario, Vinh Hoan plans to have revenue of VND10,700 billion, up 6.6% year-on-year, and the parent company's after-tax profit is expected to be VND800 billion, down 12.9% compared to the actual performance in 2023.
For the high scenario, revenue is expected to be VND11,500 billion, up 14.6% year-on-year, and the parent company's after-tax profit is expected to be VND1,000 billion, up 8.8% compared to the actual performance in 2023.
Thus, the Company's 7-month revenue results have reached 67% of the basic scenario and 62% of the high scenario.
