AsemconnectVietnam - Vietnam Container Joint Stock Company - Viconship (code VSC) recently approved the transaction of receiving capital transfer from capital contributing members of Nam Hai Dinh Vu Port Co., Ltd to increase ownership to 100%.

The parties transferring the shares are Doan Huy Trading and Investment Company Limited and Huy Hoang Import-Export Metal Trading Company Limited. CSV's capital contribution can be transferred up to a maximum of 65%.
The value of each capital contribution is VND83,800. The total amount of transfer transactions is nearly VND2,179 billion. Capital source is from capital issued to increase capital 1:1 for existing shareholders and loan capital from banks.
Specifically, VSC recently passed a resolution on borrowing VND1,450 billion at Vietnam Export-Import Commercial Joint Stock Bank - Hai Phong branch (Eximbank CN Hai Phong). Previously, Viconship also successfully issued 132.8 million shares to existing shareholders at an offering price of 10,000 VND/share.
In 2023, Viconship has completed the purchase of 35% of new capital at Nam Hai Dinh Vu Port Company Limited (the enterprise that owns Nam Hai Dinh Vu port in Hai Phong) with a value of about VND1,004 billion, equivalent to a purchase price of nearly 75,000 VND/share. Thus, after receiving the transfer of the remaining 65% of Nam Hai Dinh Vu's capital, Viconship will successfully increase its ownership here to 100% according to the business's plan.
In parallel with increasing the ownership ratio of Nam Hai Dinh Vu Port, Viconship recently announced the liquidation of the contract for the Hyatt Place Hai Phong hotel project. Accordingly, VSC approved the liquidation of the investment and business cooperation contract for the Hyatt Place hotel project and finalized the loan with Bao Viet Commercial Joint Stock Bank related to this project.
The Hyatt Hai Phong hotel project is operated by two subsidiaries of Viconship, Green Logistics Center Company Limited and Green Port Services Company Limited, in business cooperation with the investor, T&D Group Joint Stock Company.
Regarding this year's business plan, Viconship targets revenue of VND2,450 billion and pre-tax profit of VND320 billion, an increase of 11.5% and 21% respectively compared to 2023.
