On June 18, Fortune magazine announced the ranking of 500 Southeast Asian companies in 2024 - the Southeast Asia 500. This is the first time Fortune has published a ranking of the 500 largest companies in the region based on revenue. of the fiscal year 2023. Among the 70 Vietnamese enterprises on this list, Vietnam Oil and Gas Group (Petrovietnam) has 8 member and affiliated enterprises.
Honored to be in the Top 100 of the Ranking, Petrovietnam Oil Corporation (Vietnam Oil Corporation - PVOIL) ranked 88th with revenue of USD4.3 billion.
Besides, in the Top 100, Binh Son Refining (Binh Son Refining and Petrochemical Joint Stock Company - BSR) is ranked 52nd with revenue of USD6.2 billion; Petrovietnam Gas (Vietnam Gas Corporation - PV GAS) ranked 98th with revenue of USD3.8 billion.
The ranking of 500 largest companies in Southeast Asia also recognizes the presence of other member and affiliated units of Petrovietnam such as: Petrovietnam Power (Petrovietnam Power Corporation - PV Power) ranked 241st with revenue of USD1.1 billion; Petrovietnam Technical (Vietnam Petroleum Technical Services Joint Stock Company - PTSC) ranked 319th with revenue of USD813 million; Petrovietnam General (Petroleum General Services Joint Stock Company - PETROSETCO) ranked 353rd with revenue of USD723 million; Petrovietnam Fertilizer (Petroleum Fertilizer and Chemical Corporation – PVFCCo) ranked 426th with revenue of USD570 million; Petrovietnam Ca Mau (PetroVietnam Ca Mau Fertilizer Joint Stock Company - PVCFC) ranked 454th with revenue of USD528 million.
This first ranking includes companies from 7 Southeast Asian countries: Indonesia, Thailand, Malaysia, Singapore, Vietnam, Philippines and Cambodia. Among them, Indonesia dominates with 110 companies. Followed by Thailand with 107 companies. Malaysia with 89 companies on the list, surpassing Singapore with 84 companies. Vietnam has 70 companies on the list, while the Philippines has 38 companies and Cambodia has 2 companies.
